Glow, an AI-powered endpoint security company, announced it has emerged from stealth with $180 million in funding at a $1.2 billion valuation. The round was led by Sequoia Capital, Cyberstarts, Greenoaks, and Redpoint Ventures, with participation from Index Ventures, Swish Ventures, Lux Capital, Operator Collective, and Holly Ventures. The company said the funding will accelerate growth of its go-to-market team in the United States and expand Glow Labs, its research arm.
Glow was founded by CEO Roi Tiger, a nine-year Meta veteran most recently serving as VP of Engineering; CTO Omer Singer, formerly Snowflake’s Head of Cybersecurity Strategy; and VP of R&D Ophir Arie, formerly VP of R&D at Claroty. The executive team also includes Chief Product Officer Arnon Joseph, who spent eight years at Meta, and Chief Operating Officer Emily Heath, former CISO at United Airlines and DocuSign and a former partner at Cyberstarts. The company said regular usage of AI on corporate devices, authorized or not, has risen from 15 percent to 45 percent over the past year, a shift it says has created new endpoint security risks that legacy tools were not built to address.
Glow’s platform uses specialized AI agents to continuously map an organization’s endpoint environment, analyze risk in real time, and enforce policies automatically, deciding which software is permitted and which should be removed without slowing the business down. The company said it has signed enterprise customers across healthcare, retail, and financial services since its founding. Glow plans to showcase its technology at the Black Hat USA Conference in Las Vegas from August 3 through August 5.
KEY QUOTES:
“Prevention was always the right answer in security. It just never worked at enterprise scale without blocking the business. AI solves that. The moment we saw what AI made possible, we knew the endpoint could finally be protected the way it always should have been.”
Roi Tiger, CEO and Co-founder, Glow
“I sat in the CISO seat for a long time, and I can tell you the tools available to us were never built for what enterprises face today. Every enterprise wants to move faster with AI. The question isn’t whether they’ll adopt it, it’s whether security can keep up. That’s the challenge Glow is solving.”
Emily Heath, Chief Operating Officer, Glow
“Partnering with Roi, Omer, and Ophir was one of the easiest decisions we’ve made. This is a team that has built and operated at a massive scale, going after a problem that will define the industry.”
Shaun Maguire, Partner, Sequoia Capital
