Could you tell me more about your background? Gopalan said:

“I’m a technology and business leader, having held leadership roles at IBM and Texas Instruments before founding Gnani.ai.”

Formation Of The Company

How did the idea for the company come together? Gopalan shared:

“Ananth, my co-founder and I were colleagues at Texas Instruments around 8 years back. We decided to set up a deep tech AI company- rather an unfashionable idea at that time- today, it’s really fashionable to be in AI and do deep tech!  Voice AI still seemed a large enough unsolved problem that could impact millions, and we decided to build products in this space.”

Core Products

What are the company’s core products and features? Gopalan explained:

“At Gnani.ai, we’ve built a voice-first Agentic AI platform, Inya.ai, to build AI agents faster with almost no latency even on real-time voice channels.

Inya.ai is a self-serve no-code platform to build intelligent AI agents for every business conversation. It powers automation across voice, chat, email, and SMS, allowing enterprises to create, deploy, and manage AI agents effortlessly—without writing a single line of code.

Key Benefits of Inya.ai:

  • 70% cost reduction through end-to-end automation
  • 80% first contact resolution
  • Lightning-fast go-live in under 24 hours
  • Multilingual, multimodal, and enterprise-compliant (SOC2, ISO, HIPAA, GDPR)

This is an open platform, where customers can plug in their LLMs or use our Small Language Models (SLMs) for various verticals and speech-to-speech AI models.

The verticalized platform offers ready-to-use use cases across banking, insurance, securities, retail and more.

Some of the Use Cases include:

  • Lead qualification
  • Debt collections
  • Customer support
  • Tele-sales
  • HR helpdesk
  • Healthcare support
  • Product information and order tracking

With built-in integration support for tools like Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot, Twilio, Slack, and WhatsApp, Inya.ai ensures agents are fully embedded into your existing workflows. It combines LLM + SLM intelligence, offers prebuilt templates, and supports dynamic knowledge retrieval—making it ideal for fast-scaling enterprise teams.”

Recently Growth Opportunities

Have there been any recent growth opportunities in your field and how have you successfully navigated them? Gopalan noted:

“The AI landscape has experienced significant growth recently, particularly with the integration of Generative AI and the rising demand for multilingual, domain-specific automation. At Gnani.ai, we’ve successfully navigated these opportunities by developing Small Language Models (SLMs) tailored for sectors like banking, insurance, and telecom. Our no-code platform enables rapid deployment of omnichannel automation, agent assistance, and voice biometrics, allowing enterprises to enhance customer experiences efficiently. By focusing on real-world applications and delivering measurable outcomes – such as assisting financial institutions in collecting over $2 billion from customers in the past six months – we’ve positioned ourselves as a leader in this evolving field.”

Evolution Of The Company’s Technology

How has the company’s technology evolved since its launch? Gopalan pointed out:

“Since its launch, Gnani.ai’s technology has evolved significantly—from offering Voice recognition solutions to becoming a comprehensive, Voice-first Agentic AI platform built for enterprise-grade automation. The company has integrated Generative AI, voice biometrics, and domain-specific Small Language Models (SLMs), Voice to Voice Models that support 14+ Indian languages and English. Its low-code platform enables rapid deployment of Voice AI across channels like Voice, chat, and WhatsApp, email supporting use cases such as customer support, agent assistance, debt recovery, Lending, lead qualification etc.”

“Gnani.ai recently launched Inya.ai, a no-code Agentic AI platform designed to help enterprises effortlessly build, customize, and deploy intelligent AI agents across voice, chat, SMS, and email. Inya.ai is model-agnostic and open by architecture—seamlessly supporting both Gnani’s in-house Small Language Models (SLMs) and external models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, and Google Gemini. While voice-first in its foundation, the platform is highly versatile, capable of serving a wide range of enterprise functions spanning customer support, HR, sales, operations, and compliance. It is also industry-agnostic, delivering up to 50% cost savings, 90% faster deployment timelines, and a 30% increase in user engagement and task completion.”

“As a complement to this, Gnani.ai recently showcased its Voice-to-Voice AI model at NVIDIA GTC in San Jose, where it drew overwhelming attention from the global AI community. The session saw standing-room-only attendance, with long queues of attendees waiting outside the venue even after the room had reached full capacity, underscoring the market’s hunger for real-time, voice-native Agentic AI innovation. This Voice-to-Voice model now powers over 10 million voice interactions daily. Trained on million hours of multilingual conversational data, it delivers natural, contextual responses in just 250 milliseconds. By automating routine calls, lowering operational costs, and allowing human agents to focus on high-value interactions, the model has already created a business impact exceeding $6 billion. Together, Inya.ai and Gnani’s Voice-to-Voice model represent a paradigm shift in enterprise AI—making intelligent automation more accessible, real-time, and outcome-driven at scale.”
