Goldenpeak announced a majority investment in Ampere Analysis, a data and analytics company focused on the media, games, and sports industries. The investment is intended to support Ampere Analysis’ growth initiatives, including the simultaneous acquisition of PlumResearch, an entertainment industry data company specializing in audience insights.
The deal marks Goldenpeak’s first investment and a major milestone for the private equity firm as it expands its portfolio in the media and analytics sectors. Goldenpeak said it plans to work closely with Ampere Analysis’ management team, including Dan Stevenson, Guy Bisson, Ben Colbeck, and Richard Broughton, to accelerate the company’s growth strategy.
Ampere Analysis is known for providing market intelligence and analytics across television, streaming, gaming, sports, and media markets. The addition of PlumResearch is expected to strengthen the company’s capabilities in global entertainment and streaming audience analytics.
