Goldman Sachs Appoints Evan Kotsovinos As Head Of Asset & Wealth Management Engineering

Goldman Sachs announced that Evan Kotsovinos has joined the firm as a Partner and head of Asset & Wealth Management Engineering. In this role, he will work with teams across Asset & Wealth Management and the broader Goldman Sachs Engineering organization.

Kotsovinos will focus on delivering technology solutions designed to enhance investment performance, improve client experience, strengthen risk management, and optimize operations. The appointment highlights the growing role of engineering and technology across Goldman Sachs’ asset and wealth management platform.

Kotsovinos joins Goldman Sachs from Google, where he served as head of Privacy, Safety and Security. At Google, he led key efforts in AI safety and security and helped drive the strategic transformation of the company’s data protection capabilities.

Before joining Google, Kotsovinos was head of technology infrastructure for American Express. He also previously held several engineering leadership roles at Morgan Stanley across Europe and Asia.

Kotsovinos holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge. He also earned a master’s degree in finance from London Business School and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Crete.
