GoodLeap has launched the GoodLeap Home Visa Signature Card, a card combining a home equity line of credit with credit card flexibility. The card was announced July 30, 2026. Homeowners can request an invitation to apply at goodleap.com/home-card.
The card offers 6% cash back on qualifying home projects initiated through the GoodLeap Home app. That is the highest cash back rate available on home improvement spending from any major card, according to the company. It also offers 3% cash back on eligible everyday purchases after spending $2,000 or more in a billing cycle. Homeowners can access up to $150,000 in a home equity line of credit.
The card allows homeowners to draw on available credit over time rather than taking one lump-sum loan. Balances over $1,000 can convert into installment segments with fixed payments and lower rates. Homeowners can pay contractors as work progresses instead of taking a large upfront draw. The card carries no annual fee and can be used anywhere Visa is accepted.
The card is integrated into GoodLeap’s existing platform and contractor network, which already supports financing for solar, HVAC, roofing, windows, and battery installations. Homeowners can explore prequalification through participating contractors before a project begins. Eligible customers may access funding in as little as three days. The card is issued by Cross River Bank pursuant to a license by Visa U.S.A. Inc., with credit originated and funded by GoodLeap, LLC.
KEY QUOTE:
“A homeowner who just spent $20,000 upgrading their HVAC system shouldn’t be earning a few airline miles on a credit card with an average APR north of 20%. They should be earning meaningful cash back on the thing that just made their home more valuable. If you’re a homeowner with equity, you’ve likely been paying too much and earning too little. The GoodLeap Home Card changes that. We built a card for your house, not just one backed by it.”
“Every other home equity product hands you money and leaves you to figure out the rest, the contractor, the timeline, the next project. We connect financing to the work itself. The GoodLeap Home Card is just one piece of our platform, built for everything a homeowner does to their home, not just the first project.”
