Google Flights is a service that helps you find great prices on flights, hotels, and vacation packages. And using artificial intelligence, Google Flights is able to predict whether prices will go up or down. And if you use Google Flights for booking your travel, then you should know about this huge deal that Google is offering for a temporary period.
Google is offering a price guarantee for flights for a limited time:
“When we predict the price won’t decrease for select itineraries booked between August 13 and September 2, we’ll guarantee the price won’t drop, and we’ll refund you the difference if it does,” wrote Google VP of Product Management Richard Holden in a blog post. “We’ll monitor the price for you and if the price drops any time before departure, we’ll send you an email letting you know once your flight takes off–so there’s no work on your end. This feature is available for select itineraries originating in the U.S. with domestic or international destinations.”

There are a few other points worth mentioning for this deal:
1.) The Price Guarantee feature pays you the difference between the flight price when you book and the lowest ticket price. And to get money back, the price difference must be greater than $5. You can receive up to $500 back total for all of the flights you book with Google price guarantee.
2.) The Price Guarantee feature is only available for flights for which Google Flights is confident that the price won’t drop. These flights are marked with a colorful price badge when you’re picking your departing and returning flights. The Price guarantee feature only refunds you if the price of your flight drops after you book and before you fly.
3.) The price guarantee goes into effect after you book on Google. But if the price changes too quickly before you book, Google may not be able to provide the guarantee anymore. This happens when the airline updates prices faster than they load on Google Flights so you may see a price guarantee, but if they price updates before you book. The guarantee may not be available when you go to book.
4.) After you book a flight, you will receive an email letting you know if the price dropped or not. If the price did, Google Flights will send you a link where you can claim the difference. After you fill out the form, Google will deposit the difference right in your bank account. And if the price didn’t go down, you can rest assured that you got the best price with Google Flights.
5.) If your plans change and you cancel some or all of your trip, then you won’t receive the refund.
