- Google updated its homepage with a five-step process to help combat the COVID-19 outbreak
This past weekend, Google updated its homepage with basic suggestions to combat the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak. Now Google’s search page says: “DO THE FIVE. Help stop coronavirus.” This alert appears under the search bar.
Upon click on the alert, you will see advice provided by the World Health Organization. The five steps are as follows:
1. HANDS Wash them often
2. ELBOW Cough into it
3. FACE Don’t touch it
4. FEET Stay more than 3 feet apart
5. FEEL sick? Stay home
Google also posted these details on its Instagram and Twitter accounts:

As a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, many retail stores, schools, and businesses around the world have been temporarily closed down. In the U.S., the coronavirus has killed dozens of people and infected thousands.
