GoPro announced that several products from its new MISSION 1 Series lineup of cameras, mounts, and accessories are now available for pre-order through GoPro.com, with shipping and global retail availability beginning on May 28. The company also released a cinematic launch film for the MISSION 1 Series that was shot entirely using the new cameras.

The MISSION 1 Series is described as the world’s smallest, lightest, and most rugged 8K and 4K Open Gate cinema camera lineup. The cameras feature a new 50MP 1-inch sensor and GoPro’s GP3 processor, delivering enhanced image quality, low-light performance, battery life, thermal efficiency, and reliability for demanding filmmaking and creator workflows.

The flagship MISSION 1 PRO camera supports 8K60, 4K240, and 1080p960 video capture in 16:9 format, along with 8K30 and 4K120 Open Gate 4:3 capture and 50MP RAW photos. The model is priced at $699.99 MSRP and $599.99 for existing GoPro subscribers.

GoPro also introduced the MISSION 1 PRO Grip Edition, which bundles the flagship camera with a modular grip system that functions as both an ergonomic handheld grip and a rugged metal cage. The Grip Edition includes cold shoe mounts, vertical mounting capability, 1/4-20 mounting support, and GoPro’s magnetic latch mounting system. The bundle is priced at $779.99 MSRP and $679.99 for existing subscribers.

The standard MISSION 1 model delivers 4K120 Open Gate recording and supports 8K30, 4K120, and 1080p240 capture in 16:9 format while maintaining the same 50MP photo capabilities as the flagship version. The camera is priced at $599.99 MSRP and $499.99 for GoPro subscribers.

In addition to the cameras, GoPro introduced several new MISSION 1 Series accessories and mounts available for pre-order.

The Point-and-Shoot Grip converts the MISSION cameras into a handheld shooting system with cold shoe mounting, tripod compatibility, vertical mounting support, and a convertible metal cage design. It is priced at $99.99.

The Enduro 2 Battery delivers longer runtimes and faster charging, supporting more than five hours of recording at 1080p30 and over three hours at 4K30 on a single charge. The battery is compatible with both the MISSION 1 Series and HERO13 Black cameras and is priced at $34.99.

GoPro also unveiled a Dual Battery Charger for Enduro 2 batteries, capable of charging two batteries from 0% to 80% in 48 minutes. The charger includes one Enduro 2 battery and is priced at $79.99.

The company introduced M-Series ND Filters, including ND8, ND16, ND32, and ND64 options designed for cinematic motion blur and exposure control. The cameras automatically detect installed filters and adjust shutter speeds accordingly. The filter pack is priced at $99.99.

Additional accessories include a Protective Housing that extends waterproof capability to 196 feet (60 meters), compared to the cameras’ native 66-foot waterproof rating, and the new Light Mod 2 LED lighting accessory with 200 lumens of brightness and improved battery capacity. The Protective Housing is priced at $59.99, while Light Mod 2 is also priced at $59.99.

GoPro said the MISSION 1 Series was designed specifically for filmmakers and creators seeking lightweight, rugged, high-resolution cinematic camera systems capable of high frame rates and extended runtime performance in extreme environments.
