Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani has added Timothy A. Sullivan III as a Partner in its Wilmington office, strengthening the firm’s litigation capabilities in Delaware and across the Mid-Atlantic region.
Sullivan brings more than 20 years of civil litigation experience, with a practice focused on defending manufacturers, suppliers, premises owners, and other clients in asbestos, premises liability, and general casualty matters.
He represents clients across Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey and also serves as national coordinating counsel, giving him experience managing litigation strategies across multiple jurisdictions.
Sullivan has argued successfully before the Delaware Supreme Court and regularly represents clients in both Delaware state and federal courts. His experience includes obtaining summary judgment in asbestos-related matters and defending those rulings through the appellate process.
In addition to his litigation practice, Sullivan brings significant law firm management experience. He managed a Delaware office for more than 15 years and also served as co-managing shareholder of a Pittsburgh office.
In those leadership roles, Sullivan was responsible for areas including office operations, client relationships, and litigation strategy.
His addition expands Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani’s defense capabilities in Wilmington while giving Sullivan access to the firm’s national platform and attorneys across the country.
Sullivan earned his J.D. from Temple University’s James E. Beasley School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.
He is admitted to practice in Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the District of Delaware, District of New Jersey, and District of Pennsylvania.

Sullivan’s arrival adds an experienced Delaware litigator with a combination of courtroom, appellate, national coordination, and law firm leadership experience to the firm’s Wilmington office.
