GovHost announced the acquisition of True North Software, a company based in Illinois that develops cloud-native Computer-Aided Dispatch and Records Management System software for small and mid-sized law enforcement agencies. The addition of True North’s capabilities strengthens GovHost’s product portfolio, particularly in cloud-first CAD, RMS, and Jail Management System solutions. True North brings expertise in state reporting compliance, LEADS 3.0 integration, and real-time NIBRS validation, which will now complement GovHost’s existing platforms. With this acquisition, GovHost advances its strategy to provide a unified and configurable public safety platform designed to meet the operational needs of agencies often overlooked by larger vendors.
True North will continue operating as usual, with core team members remaining in leadership positions. Current customers will benefit from continuity of service along with added technical resources, product development support, and opportunities for enhanced interoperability across systems.
