Graco has recently announced a definitive agreement to acquire Color Service, a company specializing in automated dosing systems for both powder and liquid applications. The acquisition is valued at €63 million, subject to certain financial adjustments.
In the fiscal year 2024, Color Service reported revenue of €34 million. The deal is anticipated to close in Graco’s fiscal third quarter, provided that all necessary regulatory and operational conditions are met.
Color Service serves a diverse range of industries, including textiles, rubber, cosmetics, plastics, and the food sector. The company is particularly well-known for its advanced gravimetric dosing technology, which is designed to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste in manufacturing processes.
Based in Italy, Color Service has a dedicated workforce of approximately 140 employees who contribute to the company’s innovative solutions and customer service. This deal is expected to enhance Graco’s portfolio and strengthen its position in the automation and dosing systems market.
