Grafine Partners, a New York-based principal investment firm, has appointed Suzanne Flannery as Managing Director and Head of Strategic Initiatives, a newly created position designed to support the firm’s continued growth. Flannery brings more than 20 years of experience in alternative investments, business strategy, and institutional asset management. She will work across Grafine’s investment, capital formation, and operations teams as the firm expands its direct investment activities and institutional investor relationships.
Flannery most recently served as Managing Director and Head of Product Marketing Platform at Neuberger Berman, where she led a global team supporting the firm’s investment offerings.
Previously, she spent nine years at Goldman Sachs, holding senior positions across portfolio management, client solutions, and hedge fund investing.
Earlier in her career, Flannery worked at J.P. Morgan and Monitor Group.
She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an Honors Business Administration degree from Ivey Business School at Western University.
Founded in 2019 by Elizabeth Weymouth, Grafine Partners focuses on investments in the lower middle and middle markets.
The firm’s strategy involves identifying sector-specialist private equity investors establishing new investment firms and partnering with them to pursue investment opportunities.
In her newly created position, Flannery will help strengthen Grafine’s institutional infrastructure, support investor relationships, and coordinate strategic initiatives across the firm’s investment and operating activities.
