Graftcode: €2.1 Million Raised To Eliminate Software Integration Complexity For AI Era

Graftcode announced it has raised €2.1 million in seed funding as it launches the beta version of its platform, bringing total funding to €6.5 million and positioning the company to redefine how software systems integrate in the age of AI.

The round was led by Hard2beat, with participation from DigitalOcean Ventures, Heartfelt Capital, and private investors, including employees.

Graftcode is addressing a major bottleneck in software development, where a significant portion of engineering time is spent connecting systems rather than building core functionality. The company’s platform removes the need for APIs, middleware, and integration-layer code by enabling applications written in different programming languages to connect directly using a single command.

The platform is powered by a concept called runtime bridging, which allows seamless communication between services without traditional integration infrastructure. It supports 14 programming languages and integrates with major cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, while delivering up to 70% faster service interactions and reducing cloud costs.

As organizations increasingly adopt AI-driven workflows, legacy integration architectures are becoming a critical constraint. Graftcode’s approach is designed to make systems inherently compatible with agentic AI applications by eliminating fragile integration layers and simplifying service-to-service communication.

The company plans to expand language support, deepen compatibility with AI development workflows, and scale adoption, targeting 200,000 developers by the end of 2026.

KEY QUOTES:

“For two decades, the software industry kept optimising how systems connect rather than questioning whether that complexity should exist at all. We built Graftcode to remove the integration layer entirely, not improve it. Developers can focus purely on business logic, and their systems become immediately ready for AI consumption without any additional work. Our ambition is for Graftcode to become the global standard for software integration.”

Przemysław Ładyński, Co-Founder And CEO, Graftcode

“With over 20 million developers globally, the need for simpler ways to connect software systems is only growing. This challenge becomes even more critical as companies build increasingly complex, AI-driven applications. Graftcode introduces a fundamentally new approach that has the potential to reshape how developers build and scale modern software.”

Maciej Zawadzinski, Partner, Hard2beat

“Most integration tools just add another layer on top of the problem. Graftcode takes a fundamentally different approach. Runtime bridging removes the integration code entirely instead of managing it. As AI workflows demand seamless service-to-service communication, that bet looks increasingly right.”
