Grantd, a technology company focused on simplifying equity compensation planning, has announced a strategic funding round led by Edward Jones Ventures and supported by TIFIN Studios.
This investment will accelerate the development of Grantd’s next-generation platform, which is designed to help financial advisors turn complex equity benefits into clear, actionable wealth strategies.
With over $4 trillion in equity compensation often left unmanaged, Grantd aims to close a significant gap in financial planning. The platform uses artificial intelligence to combine public and private market data with tax-aware modeling and scenario planning. This allows advisors to deliver more proactive and personalized guidance to clients who hold stock options, RSUs, ISOs, and ESPPs.
The funding will support a range of platform enhancements, including automated grant uploads, instant modeling of equity positions, proactive alerts for key decision windows, and streamlined client reporting.
These features are designed to make equity compensation more transparent and manageable, helping advisors identify optimal times for exercising options, diversifying holdings, and planning around tax implications.
Grantd’s new platform is expected to launch this fall and will be developed in close collaboration with Edward Jones financial advisors to ensure it meets the practical needs of both advisors and their clients. The goal is to make equity compensation a mainstream component of wealth creation, rather than a niche or overlooked benefit.
TIFIN Studios, which supports fintech innovation across asset, wealth, and insurance sectors, has partnered with Grantd to help bring its platform to market. Vinay Nair, CEO of TIFIN, emphasized that equity compensation is becoming a central source of wealth for many professionals, and Grantd is well-positioned to lead this transformation.
