Graph AI Raises $13.3 Million Series A To Scale AI-Native Patient Safety Platform

Graph AI has raised $13.3 million in Series A funding to expand Graph Safety, its AI-native platform for automating pharmacovigilance and patient safety workflows for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

The round was led by Insight Partners, with participation from existing investor Bessemer Venture Partners. Graph AI plans to use the financing to accelerate expansion across the U.S. and Europe.

Founded in 2024, Graph AI is addressing the extensive manual work involved in pharmacovigilance, the process pharmaceutical companies use to detect, assess, understand and prevent adverse effects and other medicine-related safety issues.

Graph Safety is designed to handle more of the operational workload so safety professionals can spend additional time on analysis and decisions requiring human judgment.

The platform combines AI with deterministic controls, validation layers and end-to-end audit trails, allowing source data and outputs to remain traceable for customer validation, inspections and regulatory oversight.

Graph AI said live deployments have reduced case-processing turnaround times from more than three hours to under 10 minutes, representing a reduction of more than 90%. The company also reported operating cost reductions of up to 66%.

Since its seed round in October 2025, Graph AI has launched two modules. /intake captures and triages incoming adverse-event reports across different channels, while /nucleus is an intelligent safety database that automates case processing from end to end.

A third module, /report, for automated aggregate reporting, is launching in September. Graph AI has also secured design partnerships for future modules including /signal, which is intended to identify emerging safety signals and patterns across cases.

The company has already onboarded pharmaceutical and biotechnology customers across North America and other markets.

KEY QUOTES:

“Pharma companies must strive to get patient safety exactly right, and almost none of them want to be in the business of integrating disparate tools to do it. Meanwhile the software and service providers they rely on haven’t kept up with what AI can now do to drive accuracy and value for their pharma customers. We believe that’s a perfect problem for an AI team that lives inside this industry with complete focus, and why we’re proud to back Raghav and the Graph AI team as they scale.”

Richard Matus, Principal at Insight Partners

“Since leading Graph AI’s seed round, we’ve watched Raghav and the team turn a bold thesis into live enterprise deployments with measurable outcomes. Patient safety should run an intelligent, integrated platform – not fragmented tools and manual handoffs. We are thrilled to deepen our partnership alongside Insight Partners as Graph scales globally. This is what AI disrupting a services-heavy industry looks like.”

Nithin Kaimal, Partner and India COO at Bessemer Venture Partners

“Pharmacovigilance has traditionally scaled against rising case volumes by adding people and processes around legacy systems. We believe intelligence can change that. Graph Safety gives safety experts an intelligent system that takes on operational complexity, while keeping traceability, accountability, and human oversight at the center. We are not replacing human judgment—we are building technology that allows experts to apply it where it matters most.”
