Gravity Design has raised $15 million in equity and debt funding, co-led by 3one4 Capital and Info Edge Ventures, to build a technology-enabled operating platform for India’s premium interior materials market.
The financing also included participation from Alteria Capital, Genesia Ventures and angel investors.
Gravity is targeting India’s approximately $15 billion design-specified materials market, where supplier networks remain fragmented across multiple product categories.
The company was founded by Saurabh Jain and Lalit Mittal, both former Livspace executives. Jain previously served as CEO India at Livspace, while Mittal served as CBO India across 30 markets.
Gravity is bringing established businesses in the modular kitchen and wardrobe ecosystem onto a common technology, distribution and key-account backbone. The model is intended to improve pricing visibility, availability and fulfillment.
By integrating operating businesses from inception, Gravity began with a multi-hundred-crore revenue base and positive EBITDA. The company plans to expand into categories including doors, windows, lighting and wall surfaces.
