Greenix Pest Control announced it has acquired Essential Pest Control, a regional pest management provider serving homeowners in Knoxville, Tennessee, and the Dayton, Ohio market. The acquisition marks Greenix’s expansion into Tennessee (its 21st state of operation) and strengthens its presence in the Dayton region.
Founded in 2011, Greenix provides environmentally responsible residential pest control services and now protects more than 300,000 households across the Midwest, Northeast, and Southeast. The company said the acquisition aligns with its long-term strategy of expanding through partnerships with well-established regional providers that share its customer-focused approach.
Essential Pest Control has built its reputation by offering reliable service, experienced technicians, and a people-first culture. Existing customers will continue receiving uninterrupted service while gaining access to Greenix’s expanded technology, resources, and broader portfolio of residential pest control services.
The acquisition also continues Greenix’s expansion strategy following its partnership with private equity firm Gridiron Capital in 2025. Since then, the company has accelerated growth through acquisitions, geographic expansion, and continued investments in customer experience.
