Greenlight Networks, a leading fiber-to-the-home internet provider serving New York, Pennsylvania, and Maryland, announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Pennsylvania-based FastBridge Fiber. The transaction is expected to close in mid-2026, pending regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
The acquisition marks another step in Greenlight’s ongoing expansion strategy, following its recent purchase of Scranton-based Loop Internet and the company’s April 2025 announcement of its move into Pennsylvania. Greenlight currently provides service and continues construction across multiple regions of the state, positioning itself as a major player in the Northeast’s high-speed fiber market.
FastBridge Fiber’s infrastructure complements Greenlight’s growing network footprint, covering key Pennsylvania and New York markets including Buffalo, Berks County, Bloomsburg, Danville, Williamsport, and new developments in Erie and Hazelton. By combining operations, the companies aim to accelerate deployment of next-generation internet services to both residents and small businesses across these fast-growing areas.
Oak Hill Capital, Greenlight’s majority investor, will be joined by Guggenheim Investments as a shareholder in the combined company following the transaction. FastBridge Fiber, which is majority owned by select client accounts of Guggenheim, will contribute to the partnership’s continued network expansion and innovation across the region.
Guggenheim Securities, LLC served as financial advisor to FastBridge Fiber. A&O Shearman provided legal counsel to FastBridge Fiber and Guggenheim, while Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP advised Greenlight Networks.
