Griffin Partners announced an expanded executive leadership structure, effective June 1, 2026, as the company continues scaling its institutional platform across the Sunbelt and Mountain West markets. The company promoted Kelly Agent to Chief Operating Officer and appointed Lee Moreland to the newly created role of Chief Portfolio Officer.

The leadership changes are designed to strengthen Griffin Partners’ vertically integrated investment platform, which spans acquisition, development, property and construction management, asset management, and disposition across more than 6.7 million square feet of industrial, office, and mixed-use real estate. Since its founding in 1980, the firm has acquired or developed 60 projects representing more than 18 million square feet and $2.7 billion in total capitalization.

In her new role as Chief Operating Officer, Kelly Agent will oversee property and construction management, risk management, and human resources, including talent, culture, and organizational effectiveness. Agent joined Griffin Partners in 2022 as Senior Vice President of Property Management and implemented a portfolio-wide benchmarking strategy aimed at improving performance and tenant retention. Prior to joining Griffin, she held leadership positions across multiple markets including Chicago, Indianapolis, and Washington, D.C. Agent earned both her Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration degrees from Mississippi State University.

As Chief Portfolio Officer, Lee Moreland will continue leading the firm’s asset management team while partnering closely with CEO and Chief Investment Officer Edward Griffin to align portfolio execution with the company’s long-term investment strategy. Moreland joined Griffin Partners in 2006 and has overseen the strategic direction of properties totaling more than 9 million square feet. Before joining the company, he served in asset management leadership roles at several institutional real estate platforms, including Crescent Real Estate Equities, where he managed more than 8 million square feet of Class A office properties. Moreland holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and real estate from the University of Texas.

Edward Griffin said the appointments support the firm’s continued expansion and strengthen the institutional capabilities expected by its investment partners.
