Grubhub And Instacart Partnering To Bring Groceries To Millions

By Amit Chowdhry • Oct 29, 2025

Grubhub and Instacart have formed a nationwide partnership that integrates Instacart’s grocery marketplace directly into the Grubhub app and website, marking a significant expansion of Grubhub’s delivery offerings.

Through the collaboration, Grubhub’s more than 20 million customers will gain access to Instacart’s network of over 1,000 grocery retailers across the United States, allowing users to order groceries, household essentials, and pharmacy items alongside their favorite restaurant meals.

Orders placed through Grubhub will be fulfilled by Instacart’s dedicated shoppers, supported by the company’s advanced logistics and fulfillment technology. This integration enables fast, reliable delivery of fresh produce and everyday items within Grubhub’s familiar user experience.

The rollout begins immediately and is expected to reach full nationwide availability by the end of October 2025. The partnership reflects both companies’ efforts to strengthen their competitive positions in the evolving on-demand delivery market, where consumers increasingly expect food, grocery, and convenience products to be available through a single digital platform.
