Gryphon Investors Raises More Than $770 Million For Gryphon VI Co-Investment Fund

Gryphon Investors has completed the final closing of Gryphon VI Top-Up Co-Investment Partners with more than $770 million in total commitments. The oversubscribed fund exceeded its original $650 million target.

The fund will make investments alongside Gryphon VI, the private investment firm’s current flagship control-equity fund.

Gryphon VI invests across business services, consumer products, healthcare, industrial growth, and technology solutions and services. The co-investment vehicle has already participated in five transactions.

Investors in the fund included U.S. and international pension plans, insurance companies, asset managers, endowments, foundations, family offices and high-net-worth individuals.

Gryphon focuses on lower-middle-market companies and combines investment professionals with operating executives and functional specialists.

The firm manages more than $10 billion across its Flagship, Heritage and Junior Capital strategies. Its operational resources include specialists in artificial intelligence, capital markets, finance, human capital and information technology.
