GTCR, a Chicago-based private equity firm, has completed its acquisition of FMG Suite, a leading provider of marketing automation software for financial advisors and insurance agents. The deal, first announced earlier this year, transfers ownership from Aurora Capital Partners and marks the start of a new growth phase for FMG under GTCR’s “Leaders Strategy” investment approach.
As part of the deal, Mark Casady, former Chairman and CEO of LPL Financial, has joined FMG as Executive Chairman. Casady brings over 40 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, and fintech, including a proven track record of scaling advisor-focused platforms. He will work closely with FMG President and CEO Scott White and the leadership team to guide strategy, expand enterprise relationships, and develop AI-enabled products tailored to the evolving needs of advisors and insurance professionals.
Founded in 2011, FMG serves over 50,000 financial advisors and more than 3,500 insurance professionals. Its platform offers a comprehensive suite of marketing tools—including website management, email, social media, events, blogs, and video content—integrated with compliance workflows to help advisors engage clients, attract prospects, and maintain regulatory standards. The company’s robust content library and centralized platform have made it a “one stop shop” for marketing in the wealth management and insurance sectors.
GTCR’s investment is expected to support FMG’s continued innovation, expansion into new markets, and enhancement of its technology capabilities, with a particular focus on AI-driven solutions. The partnership also aims to deepen FMG’s relationships with large-scale wealth management firms and insurance agencies while pursuing both organic growth and strategic acquisitions.
