Guidehouse Appoints Kelly Hernandez As CFO And Stuart Brown As Chief Transformation Officer

Guidehouse has appointed Kelly Hernandez as Chief Financial Officer and named Stuart Brown to the newly created position of Chief Transformation Officer. The leadership appointments are intended to support the professional services firm’s continued investments in growth, technology and AI-enabled business transformation.

As CFO, Hernandez will lead Guidehouse’s global finance organization and help guide its long-term strategy, operational performance and growth initiatives.

She joins Guidehouse from Clark Construction Group, where she served as CFO.

Hernandez previously held senior leadership positions at Leidos, including Group CFO and Senior Vice President of Investor Relations. Her work involved strategic growth, financial performance and communication with investors.

Guidehouse CEO Scott McIntyre said Hernandez brings a combination of financial expertise, operational leadership and experience supporting organizations through transformation.

Brown will lead Guidehouse’s AI-enabled transformation strategy as Chief Transformation Officer. The newly established executive position represents the next phase of the firm’s $1.5 billion investment in AI.

His responsibilities will include accelerating innovation across Guidehouse’s internal operations, client delivery model and professional services.

Brown joined Guidehouse in January 2025 and helped develop the foundation for its AI, cloud and platform capabilities.

In the expanded role, he will connect technology, talent and industry knowledge while strengthening relationships with strategic technology partners.

The company is seeking to move from using technology primarily as an internal enablement function toward treating it as a direct source of enterprise and customer value.

Guidehouse serves commercial businesses and government agencies operating in highly regulated and complex environments.

The firm provides advisory, technology and managed services across healthcare, financial services, energy, infrastructure and national security.

Its workforce includes approximately 18,000 professionals.

Brown said organizations adopting AI must address security, governance and trust alongside technical innovation. Guidehouse plans to combine its industry experience, engineering capabilities and independent oversight to help clients move AI projects into measurable operational use.
