Guidepost Growth Equity announced that Tom Eacobacci has joined the firm as Operating Partner after previously serving as a Value Creation Group Advisor. He brings more than twenty-five years of leadership experience in high-growth enterprise software businesses, including cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, IoT, artificial intelligence, and mobility. Eacobacci will now work closely with portfolio company leadership teams to support growth strategies, operational scaling, and long-term organizational effectiveness.
Eacobacci has held senior leadership positions across sales, services, customer success, product management, and operations. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Innovative Solutions, a Guidepost portfolio company, and previously served as Executive Chairman of ActiveViam, another company in the Guidepost portfolio. Before joining Guidepost in a full-time capacity, he spent a significant amount of time collaborating with the firm as an advisor, portfolio executive, and board member.
Eacobacci previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer of BlackBerry, where he led the company’s transition into a cybersecurity software organization. Before his role at BlackBerry, he spent twenty years at Citrix as a senior executive, helping grow the business from hundreds of millions to over $3 billion in annual revenue and a market capitalization of $17 billion, while leading teams across forty countries.
