Guild Garage Group: Oak Hill Capital Partnership To Accelerate Home Services Platform Growth

By Amit Chowdhry ● Apr 4, 2026

Guild Garage Group, an alliance of residential garage door service providers, has partnered with Oak Hill Capital, a middle-market private equity firm, to support the company’s next phase of expansion. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Orlando, Florida, Guild operates as a coalition of local garage door repair, maintenance, and replacement businesses. Founded in 2024, the company has scaled rapidly, now encompassing more than 500 certified technicians across 28 local brands in 30 states. Its model emphasizes preserving local brand autonomy while leveraging shared operational resources and a centralized growth strategy.

The partnership with Oak Hill is expected to accelerate Guild’s multi-pronged growth strategy, which focuses on expanding its geographic footprint, enhancing service quality, and strengthening its technology-enabled platform. Guild’s leadership team and local operators will remain significant owners of the business following the investment, reinforcing the company’s emphasis on employee ownership and alignment.

Oak Hill identified Guild as a strong platform within the essential home services sector, citing its decentralized operating model and focus on empowering local teams. The firm plans to support Guild through additional capital, strategic guidance, and operational resources to help scale the platform nationally.

Guild’s founders built the company as a partnership-driven network, allowing independent operators to maintain control of their businesses while benefiting from shared scale advantages. The company believes the new partnership will deepen its ability to invest in its network, expand into new markets, and enhance customer service capabilities.

Advisors on the transaction included Piper Sandler as financial advisor and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher as legal counsel to Guild. Oak Hill was advised by Goldman Sachs and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison.

This investment represents the tenth transaction from Oak Hill Capital Partners VI, continuing the firm’s focus on investing in essential services businesses with durable growth characteristics.
