Guild Garage Group, an alliance of residential garage door service companies, said it has completed a partnership with Varney Door Company, a family-owned residential garage door service provider based in Barboursville, West Virginia.
Varney Door has served homeowners for more than 62 years and was established in 1963. The company provides garage door repair, replacement, and installation services and maintains a 4.9-star Google rating, according to the announcement.
The deal marks Guild’s 25th acquisition since launching in 2024 and its first acquisition of 2026. Guild said it is continuing to seek additional partnerships with garage door service businesses nationwide.
As part of its model, Guild said it retains existing employees and management teams and offers operational resources to support growth. The company also said it allows owners to take partial liquidity while retaining unit-level ownership, enabling them to participate in ongoing distributions and a potential future exit as the business expands.
