Gumloop announced it has raised $50 million in Series B funding to expand its AI automation and agent platform designed to help employees automate work tasks. The round was led by Benchmark, with participation from Nexus Venture Partners, First Round Capital, Y Combinator, Box Group, The Cannon Project, and Shopify Ventures.

The company is focused on building a platform that allows employees across organizations to create AI agents and automate workflows without needing deep technical expertise. According to the company, the goal is to make understanding a task the only prerequisite for automating it.

Gumloop says its platform has become widely adopted among companies building AI-first workflows, including Shopify, Ramp, Gusto, Samsara, Instacart, and Opendoor. The company’s tools allow employees to build agents that can connect with hundreds of applications and operate across workspaces such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, and email.

The company’s product suite includes three core components.

First is Gumloop Agents, which are proactive AI agents that employees across a company can build in minutes and deploy within workplace tools. These agents can integrate with a wide range of applications and automate tasks across different teams.

Second is the core Gumloop platform, which enables organizations to build, collaborate on, and orchestrate agents and automations across their operations.

Third is Gumstack, a platform designed for enterprise security teams to monitor and control data usage across AI agents. Gumstack logs and audits tool calls and data usage across agents built within Gumloop as well as external tools such as ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, and custom internal agents.

The company says its focus on usability has helped accelerate adoption as large organizations look to enable non-technical employees to build and deploy AI-powered workflows. Gumloop noted that it works closely with customers to shape product development, including frequent direct feedback sessions, workshops, and support through private Slack channels.

Gumloop said the rapid improvement in large language models over the past six months has accelerated its product roadmap. The company has been developing authentication infrastructure, enterprise observability features, and security capabilities to support broader enterprise adoption of AI-driven automation.

The new capital will help Gumloop expand its product capabilities and grow its team as demand for enterprise AI automation continues to increase.

“Before I had my first meeting with him, he already understood our whole business: he’d done deep dives with our customers and understood their pain points and use cases better than any investor we’d ever spoken to. When we asked enterprises why Gumloop has emerged as the primary AI platform for their employees, they consistently pointed to the product’s balance between powerful capabilities & ease of use, as well as the team’s customer obsession & dedication to service.”
