Gyde Acquires Medicare Agency Avid Health To Expand Across Medicare Markets

Gyde, an AI-native brokerage platform focused on modernizing insurance distribution, announced it has acquired Avid Health, a Medicare-focused agency based in Palm Beach, Florida. The deal marks Gyde’s first partner acquisition since its public launch earlier this year and reflects its strategy to scale a technology-enabled brokerage platform across Medicare markets.

The acquisition brings together Gyde’s artificial intelligence-driven infrastructure with Avid Health’s established Medicare advisory business. Avid Health has built its reputation by helping seniors, particularly those newly eligible for Medicare, navigate plan selection and ongoing coverage decisions across Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D offerings. Its agents provide continuous, personalized support throughout the customer lifecycle, emphasizing education and long-term relationships.

With the transaction, Avid Health’s brokers will gain access to Gyde’s proprietary platform, including its operating system GydeOS and AI assistant Gia. GydeOS is designed to help brokers expand their client base and identify cross-selling opportunities, while Gia automates routine client engagement through SMS and voice interactions, including appointment scheduling and coverage updates.

Gyde aims to position itself as a next-generation platform that combines human advisory expertise with AI-enabled operational support. The company is targeting the growing Medicare market, where increasing complexity and a rising population of eligible beneficiaries are driving demand for more sophisticated brokerage services.

The company recently launched with $60 million in funding and is pursuing a strategy of partnering with and acquiring high-performing agencies to accelerate growth. By integrating these firms into its platform, Gyde seeks to streamline administrative processes and enable brokers to deliver more proactive, data-driven guidance across insurance, health, and wealth planning.

Avid Health, founded in 2021, has focused on a high-touch advisory model, prioritizing transparency and personalized service for Medicare beneficiaries. The acquisition is intended to preserve that approach while enhancing it with AI-powered tools and scalable infrastructure.

Gyde executives indicated that the transaction reflects strong confidence in the long-term importance of Medicare Advantage and the evolving role of brokers. As plan options become more complex, the company believes technology will be critical in helping advisors deliver consistent, high-quality service at scale.
