H.I.G. Capital announced that an affiliate has completed the acquisition of Global Elite Group from Securitas AB, marking a strategic expansion into aviation security services.
Headquartered in the New York metropolitan area, Global Elite Group is a leading provider of unarmed aviation security services supporting airports, airlines, and cargo operators across the United States. The company operates in 19 of the top 20 U.S. airports and serves major airport authorities and domestic and international carriers through long-term contracts.
Founded in 2002, Global Elite Group employs approximately 1,800 personnel and delivers mission-critical security services that help clients maintain regulatory compliance and ensure operational continuity in a complex aviation environment. The company has built a reputation for reliability and high service quality, reflected in strong customer relationships and high contract renewal rates.
H.I.G. Capital, a global alternative investment firm with $74 billion of capital under management, plans to support Global Elite Group’s next phase of growth. The firm brings experience in corporate carve-outs and intends to invest in the company’s capabilities, operations, and workforce.
