Harrison Davis joins H.I.G. with over 15 years of extensive experience in lower-middle-market private equity. Throughout his career, he has built a robust track record of successful investments across several key sectors, including business services, industrials, consumer products, and technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT).

Before joining H.I.G., Harrison held the position of Partner and Co-Head of the Small-Cap strategy at TZP Group, where he played a pivotal role in managing investments aimed at optimizing growth potential in smaller companies. Harrison’s career began in management consulting, where he focused on advising private equity-backed companies, providing strategic insights that helped these firms enhance their operational performance.

In his new role at H.I.G., Harrison will join a dedicated team of 40 professionals under the SCG umbrella. This team is specifically designed to capitalize on H.I.G.’s considerable resources and comprehensive market knowledge, allowing it to effectively identify and invest in niche opportunities.

The SCG fund primarily targets control equity investments in under-managed or high-growth North American companies that have earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) of under $15 million. The team’s investment strategy focuses on companies that face complexities in their business models, industry dynamics, or transactional environments, seeking to unlock value and drive substantial growth through operational improvements and strategic initiatives.
