
HackerOne has appointed Naveen Bhateja as Chief People Officer, adding a veteran technology executive to lead the company’s people strategy, leadership development and organizational culture.
Bhateja joins HackerOne’s executive leadership team with more than 25 years of experience building talent and leadership programs across global technology organizations.
At HackerOne, he will focus on developing company leaders, strengthening the organization’s management bench and creating opportunities for employees to grow as the business scales.
The appointment comes as HackerOne continues building what it describes as an AI-native organization combining artificial intelligence with human security expertise.
The company operates a Continuous Threat Exposure Management platform designed to help organizations identify and manage security vulnerabilities.
Bhateja has held senior people leadership positions at Medidata, Juniper Networks, Amazon and JPMorgan Chase.
Across those roles, he worked on enterprise-wide talent strategies, leadership development, organizational effectiveness and executive capabilities.
His experience includes helping companies manage workforce and leadership needs during periods of rapid growth and organizational change.
HackerOne said the increasing pace of change across cybersecurity and AI is making talent development an increasingly important component of its strategy.
Bhateja’s role will include helping employees and executives adapt to that shift while strengthening the organizational foundation supporting HackerOne’s products, customers and security researcher community.
The company sees the combination of AI and human expertise as a core part of its approach to the future of cybersecurity.
