Hackuity, an AI-powered Vulnerability Operations Center platform, announced that it has raised $19 million in new funding led by Forgepoint Capital International, with participation from existing investors Bright Pixel, Bpifrance, and Seventure Partners. The round brings Hackuity’s total funding to $38 million.
The company plans to use the funding to accelerate product innovation, expand its AI capabilities, and support international growth across Europe and Asia as enterprises face a rapidly increasing volume of cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
Hackuity is focused on helping security teams determine which vulnerabilities represent the greatest business risk and coordinate their remediation, rather than simply generating additional vulnerability alerts.
The company argues that this challenge is becoming increasingly important as AI systems improve their ability to discover software vulnerabilities at a pace that can overwhelm human security teams.
Hackuity said there are now approximately 350,000 known Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures, or CVEs, representing a 20% year-over-year increase. At the same time, security teams often have vulnerability information spread across numerous scanning, security, infrastructure, and workflow systems.
The company’s platform aggregates findings from more than 130 security tools and combines them with business and threat intelligence to help security teams decide which issues should be addressed first.
Hackuity’s proprietary risk-scoring engine continuously evaluates factors including vulnerability severity, likelihood of exploitation, threat intelligence, asset criticality, and potential business impact. The platform then helps coordinate remediation across security, IT, and engineering teams.
The goal is to reduce the volume of vulnerabilities requiring human attention by distinguishing issues that present meaningful organizational risk from findings that are less urgent.
According to Hackuity, customers using its platform have reduced critical vulnerability noise to 0.01%, improved mean time to remediation by three times, automated as much as 70% of exposure-management activities, and generated savings ranging from hundreds of thousands of dollars to $1 million.
Hackuity’s technology is currently used by more than 6,000 users protecting over 2 million assets and managing approximately 1 billion security findings. Its customers include organizations such as ENGIE and BPCE, while the company also works with security service providers including Orange Cyberdefense.
The company describes its platform as a Vulnerability Operations Center, combining exposure prioritization, validation, remediation orchestration, and collaboration capabilities into a unified environment.
This approach is intended to address a shift in cybersecurity in which vulnerability discovery itself is becoming increasingly automated, leaving remediation and prioritization as the more difficult operational challenge.
Hackuity believes AI will further accelerate that transition by enabling both security researchers and attackers to identify weaknesses more quickly. The company is positioning its platform as infrastructure that allows enterprise security teams to respond at a speed closer to that of automated discovery systems.
The platform is also designed to provide security, IT, and engineering teams with a shared view of vulnerability risk, helping organizations reduce the coordination problems that can occur when responsibility for identifying and fixing security weaknesses is distributed across different departments.
Hackuity additionally works with systems integrators, resellers, and managed security service providers to bring its exposure-management technology to larger enterprise environments.
The company’s international expansion strategy builds on an existing presence across Europe, Singapore, and the Middle East. Hackuity is headquartered in Lyon, France.
Forgepoint Capital International’s investment also brings additional cybersecurity specialization to Hackuity’s shareholder base. Forgepoint focuses on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and infrastructure software and manages more than $1 billion in assets, with an active portfolio of more than 40 companies.
With the new capital, Hackuity plans to continue developing what it describes as an agentic platform capable of automating vulnerability prioritization and helping drive remediation at machine speed, as organizations contend with growing volumes of security data and increasingly AI-enabled cyber threats.
KEY QUOTES:
“Hackuity was founded on a simple conviction: the volume of vulnerabilities would outpace any human’s capacity to respond. Mythos simply validates that thesis, by making the scale of the tsunami impossible to ignore. Having Forgepoint, a globally recognized cybersecurity investor with unmatched sector expertise and a truly global network, lead this round is a strong signal that the market agrees. What we built before the wave arrived is exactly what enterprises need now that it’s here: an agentic platform that automates prioritization and drives remediation at machine speed.”
Patrick Ragaru, CEO and Co-Founder of Hackuity
“Cybersecurity has entered a new era where AI is accelerating both attack and defense. Organizations can no longer rely on traditional vulnerability management approaches to keep pace with the speed and scale of modern threats. Hackuity is building the operational platform enterprises need to transform overwhelming amounts of security data into clear, actionable decisions. Patrick and the team have combined deep cybersecurity expertise with a bold product vision, making Hackuity exactly the kind of category-defining company we look to support.”
Damien Henault, Managing Director and Partner at Forgepoint Capital International
“The challenge isn’t discovering vulnerabilities anymore but understanding which ones matter most and getting the right teams aligned to fix them before attackers can act. Hackuity gives us the operational clarity to prioritize, coordinate, and accelerate remediation across our global organization.”
Omar Abdelmoumen, Head of Cyber Defence at ENGIE
“Hackuity helps companies reduce their attack surface by transforming the complexity of vulnerabilities into clear priorities, allowing teams to focus on the risks that really matter. We’ve selected Hackuity in our Exposure Management portfolio and combined its expertise with ours to deliver a best-in-class value proposition to customers, bringing together advanced vulnerability prioritization and deep cybersecurity expertise to turn risk into actionable outcomes.”
Cyril Demonceaux, Head of Defense Center at Orange Cyberdefense
