Halliburton has named Casey Maxwell president of its Western Hemisphere business, promoting the current senior vice president of North America Land to the role effective February 1, 2026, as the oilfield services company continues to refresh its senior leadership bench.

Based in Houston, the company said Maxwell will oversee Halliburton’s operations across the Western Hemisphere and will report into the executive leadership team. Shannon Slocum, Halliburton’s executive vice president and chief operating officer, said Maxwell’s operational background—including leadership assignments in the Permian Basin and Argentina—positioned him to lead the region and support customers across key producing basins.

Maxwell joined Halliburton in 2006 as a field associate in Odessa, Texas, and has since held a range of positions spanning field sales, technical sales, business development, and area leadership. His career has included postings in Midland and Denver in addition to Buenos Aires, reflecting the company’s emphasis on rotating operational leaders through major markets.

He will succeed Mark Richard, who will transition to a senior advisor role to Halliburton Chairman, President, and CEO Jeff Miller, the company said.

Halliburton, founded in 1919, is among the world’s largest providers of products and services to the energy industry, supplying technologies and solutions used across the life cycle of oil and gas assets. The company said it continues to focus on innovation intended to help customers maximize value while supporting a “sustainable energy future.”
