Hallow: 10 Million App Downloads And $50 Million In Funding

By Annie Baker ● Jun 5, 2023

Hallow recently achieved 10 million downloads and 225 million prayers prayed around the world – which makes it the biggest prayer app in the world (Sensor Tower). Hallow also became the first faith-based app to hit the top 10 apps in the App Store at #3 overall. The company also announced it closed $50 million in Series C funding, bringing the total funding raised for Hallow to $105 million.

It took Hallow nearly 2 years to hit the 1 million prayers prayed milestone on the app. But this past Lent, the members of the Hallow community had prayed over a million prayers per day.

Hallow also recently partnered with several well known celebrities and faith leaders including the actor Jonathan Roumie, Fr. Mike Schmitz, Bishop Robert Barron, Sister Miriam James-Heidland, Mario Lopez, and Mark Wahlberg.

Funding

The funding round was led by Goodwater Capital. Highland Capital, Colin Moran, and several of Hallow’s existing investors also joined the round.
