Happy V is a women’s wellness company that develops science-backed, transparently formulated supplements and probiotics designed to balance vaginal pH, support gut health, and manage common health issues like UTIs and hormonal imbalances. Pulse 2.0 interviewed Happy V founder and CEO Daniella Levy to learn more.

Daniella Levy’s Background

Daniella Levy

Could you tell me more about your background? Levy said:

“I actually started my career in marketing, helping small businesses build their social media presence. Storytelling has always been my thing. But Happy V was born out of something much more personal. For years, I struggled with recurring bacterial vaginosis (BV). I went through every treatment…antibiotics, boric acid, probiotics from the drugstore, even home remedies like garlic, but nothing worked long term. Eventually, I realized the products I needed didn’t exist, so I teamed up with my partner, Hans Graubard, whose family has been in supplement manufacturing for decades, and we created them ourselves.”

Formation Of The Company

How did the idea for the company come together? Levy shared:

“Honestly, it really started with frustration. I was tired of being told my symptoms were “probably stress” or “just something women deal with.” I found myself questioning, if these symptoms were ‘so common,’ then why was no one talking about them? When our formulation was effective for me for three straight months, I knew that we were onto something big. We saw an opportunity to create a product that was safe, scientifically backed, and effective. It was also a chance to pursue a larger mission of creating stigma-free conversations surrounding topics previously considered taboo or that women have only been told to whisper about for generations.”

Favorite Memory

What has been your favorite memory working for the company so far? Levy reflected:

“There’s one moment I’ll never forget. I filmed and posted a TikTok about my personal journey and frustrations with BV. It was raw, honest, and unfiltered, but I didn’t think much of it after hitting ‘post.’ Well, much to my surprise, it went viral overnight. All of a sudden, I was receiving comments from thousands of women saying things like, ‘I thought I was the only one,’ and ‘Makes me feel so seen to see women talk about this.’ It was this sense of community that transformed Happy V from a product line into a much bigger movement.”

Core Products

Happy V

What are the company’s core products and features? Levy explained:

“Our hero product is the Prebiotic + Probiotic, formulated to support vaginal and gut microbiome balance. We’ve since expanded into urinary support with our D-Mannose + Cranberry supplements, Menopause Relief AM + PM and Ovarian Support, all made with clinically studied ingredients at their effective doses. Every product is manufactured in-house at our own facility, which gives us full control over quality and traceability.”

Challenges Faced

Have you faced any challenges in your sector of work recently? Levy acknowledged:

“Absolutely. The supplement space is crowded, and women’s health can still feel taboo. We’ve had to fight misinformation and build trust in a category that’s often over-marketed and under-regulated. We do that by owning our manufacturing, investing in clinical research, and leading with transparency, educating doctors and consumers on what quality actually looks like.”

Evolution Of The Company’s Technology

How has the company’s technology evolved since launching? Levy noted:

“When we started, it was one formulation in one bottle. Now we’re running pre-clinical and clinical studies with global partners to validate our formulations and explore how the vaginal and gut microbiomes interact with hormones. We’ve also expanded to TikTok Shop and Amazon, built an in-house creative team, and use first-party data to understand our customers better.”

Significant Milestones

What have been some of the company’s most significant milestones? Levy cited:

“One of our proudest milestones is partnering with Vitamin Angels. Every Happy V order helps provide vitamins and nutrition to women and children around the world. We’ve also reached over 25,000 verified reviews with a 4.9-star average, launched multiple new lines, and completed our first independent pre-clinical study confirming our probiotic’s ability to inhibit the growth of infection-causing bacteria like Gardnerella vaginalis.”

Customer Success Stories

Can you share any specific customer success stories? Levy highlighted:

“There’s one that always sticks with me. A woman named Viviana took a vaginal microbiome test and learned only 2 percent of her bacteria were ‘good.’ After taking our Prebiotic + Probiotic, she retested, and that number jumped to 98 percent. She sent us a video saying, ‘You changed my life.’ That’s the kind of impact that keeps us going.”

Funding/Revenue

Are you able to discuss funding and/or revenue metrics? Levy revealed:

“We’re completely bootstrapped. No outside investors. This choice definitely made getting off the ground a bit tougher, but the figurative and literal payoff was that it allowed us to grow sustainably while keeping true to our mission instead of chasing short-term returns. It hasn’t always been easy, but motivated us to keep our focus on formulating products that genuinely help women.”

Total Addressable Market

What total addressable market (TAM) size is the company pursuing? Levy assessed:

“Over 21 million women in the U.S. experience bacterial vaginosis alone, and that’s just one of the issues we address. When you factor in hormonal transitions, fertility, and menopause, the women’s hormonal and microbiome health market easily spans hundreds of millions globally.”

Differentiation From The Competition

What differentiates the company from its competition? Levy affirmed:

“Three things:

  1. Owned manufacturing: We control our formulas, sourcing, and quality end-to-end.
  2. Clinically validated ingredients: Each product is dosed to match real research.
  3. Authenticity: Happy V was built from lived experience, not a marketing trend. We’re not trying to make women smell like flowers; we’re helping them understand their biology without shame.”

Future Company Goals

What are some of the company’s future goals? Levy emphasized:

We’re expanding into prenatal and fertility support, a men’s line, and eventually Happy Kids. Beyond products, we want to deepen our relationships with healthcare providers so that doctors feel confident recommending supplements that are safe and backed by science. Long term, we want Happy V to be the most trusted name in microbiome and hormonal wellness, worldwide.

Additional Thoughts

Any other topics you would like to discuss? Levy concluded:

“I’d love to keep talking about how women’s health conversations are finally shifting, from embarrassment to empowerment. If we can keep normalizing these topics, then we’re not just selling supplements; we’re helping change culture.”
