HarbourVest Partners has announced a new education partnership with Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association to expand training and professional development across the private markets industry.
The collaboration will focus on enhancing practitioner-led learning through CAIA’s CAIA.nxt microcredential series, with an emphasis on real-world applications, emerging trends in private markets, and the evolving needs of both institutional and private wealth investors.
The initiative reflects a shared effort to strengthen professional standards and improve investment outcomes as private markets continue to grow in importance within global portfolios. As part of the partnership, HarbourVest will contribute industry expertise and practical insights, while CAIA will lead the rollout of new educational programs as part of its global strategy.
HarbourVest, which manages approximately $150 billion in assets and has more than 4 decades of experience, will support CAIA’s educational efforts by providing subject-matter expertise and perspectives from across its global investment platform.
CAIA, which represents a global network of more than 14,000 alternative investment professionals, aims to combine academic rigor with industry experience through this collaboration, helping professionals build the knowledge required to navigate increasingly complex private markets environments.
