Harvest Group, an integrated commerce agency serving high-growth consumer brands, announced that it has secured a growth investment from Mountaingate Capital to accelerate expansion of its commerce capabilities and proprietary technology platform.

The strategic partnership is intended to support Harvest Group’s next phase of growth as consumer brands navigate an increasingly complex retail environment spanning in-store sales, digital commerce, retail media, and analytics. The company said the investment will allow it to further develop its integrated commerce model and scale its technology infrastructure while maintaining its existing leadership team and independent operating structure.

Chief executive officer Ross Cully will continue to lead the company, and Harvest Group’s service model will remain unchanged. Mountaingate Capital will serve as a strategic partner on the board while supporting the company’s long-term growth strategy.

Founded in 2006, Harvest Group has expanded rapidly in recent years by broadening its services, deepening its expertise with retailers, and developing proprietary technology to help brands manage omnichannel retail strategies. The company works with consumer brands selling through major retailers, including Walmart, Sam’s Club, Target, Amazon, Costco, and Kroger.

The new investment will enable Harvest Group to further strengthen its data infrastructure, enhance its proprietary execution and business intelligence platform, and continue building integrated commerce capabilities that connect retail strategy, digital media, and analytics into a unified growth system.

Mountaingate Capital, a Colorado-based private equity firm with more than $1.4 billion in assets under management, focuses on partnering with founder-led companies and helping them scale through organic growth initiatives and targeted acquisitions. The firm has experience investing in technology-enabled marketing and business services companies.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
