Harvey announced it is bringing Hexus, the Pear VC and Liquid 2-backed AI product demo company founded by Sakshi Pratap, into the Harvey organization as it looks to deepen product capabilities for corporate legal departments. The company described the move as an opportunity to materially accelerate work focused on in-house legal teams, positioning Hexus as a talent and product-oriented addition that can help Harvey move faster as adoption scales.
Under the arrangement, the Hexus team will join Harvey’s San Francisco office while continuing to build for customers globally. Harvey said the team includes engineers who previously worked at Google and X or Twitter, and suggested that background aligns well with the demands of developing enterprise software at speed while maintaining reliability and a strong customer focus. Harvey also signaled that the hire fits within a broader expansion strategy, noting it is actively recruiting engineers across San Francisco, New York, Toronto, and Bengaluru.
The announcement arrives as Harvey points to rapid momentum in its business. Harvey said the news follows its Year in Review, which it characterized as showing significant ARR growth and continued international expansion. Harvey also highlighted customer adoption benchmarks, saying it has surpassed 1,000 customers across 60 countries, a footprint that underscores both the global demand for AI-enabled legal workflows and the operational pressures that come with scaling a platform used by legal teams in different jurisdictions, industries, and compliance environments.
By adding Hexus, Harvey is effectively making a bet that expertise in AI-driven product demonstration and customer-facing product experience can translate into a stronger platform for in-house legal users. As corporate legal departments push for more automation across intake, matter management, knowledge retrieval, and workflow execution, Harvey is signaling that it wants to keep tightening product iteration cycles and improving the end-user experience. The company did not disclose transaction terms, the size of the team joining, or how Hexus technology might be incorporated, but framed the move primarily around accelerating product building and supporting customers as Harvey continues to grow.
