- Rapidly growing home interior decorating company Havenly announced it closed a Series C round of funding at a total of $32 million
Havenly, a rapidly growing home interior decorating and e-commerce company, announced it closed a Series C round of funding at a total of $32 million. Including this round of funding, Havenly has raised a total of $57.8 million.
This round of funding was provided by Foundry Group, BN Capital by Lerer Hippeau, Kickstart Ventures, and Gingerbread Capital. And Havenly plans to use the new round to expand its offerings by unveiling a private label collection called Cove Goods (available this holiday season), continue to scale its designer network, and invest in technology. Cove Goods is a curated collection of accessibly priced home goods line featuring nearly 50 SKUs across rugs, pillows, throws, furniture, and lighting.
“We are excited to continue to provide accessible, delightful design services to our passionate customers.” said Havenly co-founder and CEO Lee (Motayed) Mayer in a statement. “With this new round of funding we will continue to expand our offerings to better serve our clients and are so excited to continue scaling our business.”
Ever since Havenly launched in 2014, the company has hit a number of milestones. For example, Havenly’s customer base grew more than 14x in the last two years with more than 60% of purchasing customers returning for additional design projects with Havenly. And with this funding round, Havenly will be launching a new broadcast advertising campaign in early 2020.
How does Havenly work? Havenly serves its customers by matching them with designers and the products for them through a personal style quiz with hundreds of potential unique outcomes that help target a person’s individual design style.
And expertly trained interior designers then use the client’s style data and 49 additional data points about the customer’s preferences to create a personalized design and rendering that matches the customer’s style. And the items are sourced from its 200+ furnishing partners’ fifteen million products.
