HBO Max — the streaming video platform that will feature content from HBO, Warner Bros., and Turner — will be launching on May 27, according to an announcement by WarnerMedia today.
HBO Max will also have all ten seasons of the hit comedy show Friends. Friends was removed from Netflix on January 1.
Existing HBO subscribers on AT&T and HBO Now direct billing subscribers will have free access to HBO Max. And AT&T customers who subscribe to premium video, mobile, and broadband packages will have an option to bundle with HBO Max at no additional cost.
For other users who may be interested in HBO Max, the cost is $14.99 per month. And HBO Max will be offered through YouTube TV for customers who use Google’s virtual TV platform.
