Headline, the global early-stage and growth venture capital firm with funds across the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Brazil, has announced the appointments of Iñigo Garcia Gordobil as Partner and Global Head of Investor Relations, and Morgan Dickson as Director of Capital Formation. The two hires join Estelle Mamane, Headline’s Head of Investor Relations Europe, to build out a dedicated investor relations function across the firm’s global limited partner base.
Garcia Gordobil brings more than 13 years of experience with Headline, beginning when he first evaluated the firm as an allocator at Cambridge Associates, where he spent nearly a decade assessing venture capital and growth equity managers globally. At Cambridge, he led the firm’s Latin America private investment research practice, where he first met Headline co-founder Mathias Schilling during the early development of the firm’s South American presence. He later moved to QIC, one of Australia’s largest institutional investment managers, focused on venture and growth technology investments, before joining Base10 as a partner and the firm’s first Head of Investor Relations. At Headline, Garcia Gordobil will oversee all limited partner relationships and work closely with the firm’s leadership and existing and future investors.
Dickson joins from one of the world’s largest alternative asset managers, where she spent more than three years managing relationships with family offices, endowments, and foundations across the Western U.S. and Canada. She previously spent four years at Hall Capital Partners, a prominent OCIO based in San Francisco, supporting ultra-high-net-worth family, endowment, and foundation clients across portfolio management and investment operations. Dickson and Garcia Gordobil share a prior connection through the alumni network of their shared university in Lugano, Switzerland, and have remained in professional contact since both relocated to the Bay Area. At Headline, she will support all aspects of the LP lifecycle alongside Garcia Gordobil and other firm value-add initiatives.
