Healthy Extracts announced the acquisition of Imaraïs Beauty, the women’s health and beauty brand co-founded by fitness personality Sommer Ray and supplement entrepreneur Aaron Hefter. The transaction marks Healthy Extracts’ expansion into the global beauty and personal care market and is expected to increase the company’s 2026 annualized revenue run rate outlook by 20% to more than $24 million by year end.
Founded in 2020, Imaraïs Beauty specializes in plant-based, sugar-free ingestible beauty gummies focused on skincare, haircare, and women’s wellness. The brand has established retail distribution through major U.S. retailers including Target, Ulta Beauty, Nordstrom, and Sprouts Farmers Market, alongside direct-to-consumer sales through its website.
The acquisition follows an earlier manufacturing partnership between Healthy Extracts’ wholly owned subsidiary, Gummy USA, and Imaraïs Beauty. That agreement included an initial order totaling 4 million gummies across five SKUs.
Healthy Extracts said the transaction combines its precision-dose gummy manufacturing technologies, research and development capabilities, and distribution network with Imaraïs Beauty’s celebrity-driven branding, influencer engagement, and global retail presence. The company believes the combination positions it to capitalize on growing demand within the functional wellness and beauty gummy sector.
As part of the acquisition, Hefter has been appointed chief branding officer of Healthy Extracts and will continue serving as president of Imaraïs Beauty. He will oversee brand strategy, retail expansion, influencer partnerships, and product innovation initiatives.
Healthy Extracts also highlighted growing consolidation activity across the wellness gummy market, referencing Unilever’s reported $1.2 billion acquisition of Grüns Gummies as evidence of increasing investor interest in scalable wellness brands with strong consumer engagement and retail distribution.
Ray, who has more than 35.6 million social media followers globally, will remain actively involved in the Imaraïs Beauty brand, including creative direction, marketing, social media engagement, and product development.
Imaraïs Beauty positions itself as a sustainable wellness brand focused on vegan, cruelty-free formulations without sugar, gelatin, carrageenan, artificial colors, synthetic dyes, or artificial sweeteners. The company said its products are supported by independent clinical testing conducted by Princeton Consumer Research and approved by Health Canada.
Healthy Extracts said the acquisition strengthens its broader wellness platform, which includes brands such as BergametNA and Ultimate Brain Nutrients, as well as proprietary oral delivery technologies including SureDose gummy systems, Gelteq gel delivery systems, and the Gut Health Straw platform.
