Herbalife announced that global sports icon Cristiano Ronaldo has acquired a 10% equity interest in HBL Pro2col Software, LLC, an indirect wholly owned subsidiary that holds the company’s Pro2col technology. Ronaldo invested $7.5 million in the platform and committed to provide services and sponsorship rights to Pro2col Software.

Pro2col is Herbalife’s next-generation digital, personalized health and wellness operating system, designed to drive daily engagement, sustainable behavior change and measurable outcomes through a structured, data-driven approach. The company said the investment underscores Ronaldo’s longstanding commitment to health and nutrition and reflects confidence in the future of personalized, technology-enabled wellness.

Herbalife has partnered with Ronaldo as its global nutrition partner since 2013. The collaboration previously led to the launch of Herbalife24 CR7 Drive, a sports drink developed to meet the performance and nutrition needs of elite athletes and consumers worldwide.

According to Herbalife, Pro2col uses an individual’s data to build customized wellness plans, incorporating daily habits and smart nutrition tracking. The platform adapts to users’ lifestyles and features Pro2Score, a proprietary wellness scoring system that measures progress across key metrics and provides actionable insights. Pro2col also provides Herbalife distributors with digital tools to enhance customer engagement and expand access to personalized nutrition.

The company said Pro2col aligns with its long-term strategy to become a more connected and data-driven health and wellness platform, integrating products, community, AI and digital capabilities. Herbalife has launched a phased beta rollout in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico, with plans to expand to select EMEA markets in 2026 ahead of a broader commercial release.
