heyLibby, an AI-based team member for fitness, wellness, and recreation businesses, announced it has raised $4.5 million in seed funding led by Aglaé Ventures and Vertical Venture Partners. This funding round will advance the company’s expansion and accelerate AI advancements that help fitness and wellness businesses streamline customer communication, reduce churn, and drive revenue.
Created by Tony Small, Anna Rodriguez, and Spencer Rascoff (Zillow co-founder and current CEO of Match Group), heyLibby tackles a growing challenge in the fitness and wellness industry, which is that businesses struggle to manage customer engagement efficiently, leading to missed calls, lost leads, and operational inefficiencies. heyLibby also acts as an AI-based team member who answers calls, texts, emails, and chats instantly, while running AI-driven outbound campaigns to keep customers engaged.
Over a thousand customers use heyLibby. Arena Sports, Seattle Suntan, and Desert Sun use it to enhance customer service, book appointments, and allow their in-person staff to focus on providing a great in-person experience.
Beyond fitness and wellness businesses, heyLibby also provides a white-label AI solution for CRM providers, virtual assistant companies, and business consultants looking to integrate AI-powered communication into their offerings.
Built specifically for fitness and wellness businesses, heyLibby integrates CRM systems, scheduling platforms, and customer databases to create a seamless customer experience. And it answers every call, email, and text, handles booking and follow-ups, and even does outbound calls to communicate information tailored to each customer. It is also very easy to set up and use so that businesses can see the value after just a few minutes of setup.
With this new funding, heyLibby will be focusing on:
1.) Adding AI functionality to enable businesses to provide an even better customer experience with even lower overhead
2.) Adding to heyLibby’s white-label offering to empower more businesses to offer the platform to their customers
3.) Building out the go-to-market team to bring heyLibby to more companies nationwide
