Could you tell me more about your background? Kasturi said:

“I started my career as an engineer with a background in computer science. Over time, I grew into roles as an architect and then an engineering leader, managing global organizations. From there, I transitioned into product leadership and eventually became a founder and CEO, creating the industry’s first hybrid cloud platform company. That company was acquired, and I went on to serve as VP & GM of a cloud and data business unit. Later, I joined a private equity-backed company as Chief Product & Technology Officer, where I transformed a mid-size enterprise. After that, I returned to a public company in the same role, leading global organizations and driving business transformation. Interestingly, I was a customer of HG Insights before joining as CEO last year. I have 20+ patents in many aspects of technology evolution spanning Networking, Security, Cloud, Data, and Information management.”

Favorite Memory

What has been your favorite memory working for the company so far? Kasturi reflected:

“My favorite moments have been conversations with customers—such as Databricks, SAP, and others—who have built complete AI- and data-driven revenue growth strategies powered by HG Insights. They’ve shown me what’s possible when our intelligence is used to shape company strategy, go-to-market execution, marketing, sales, and customer success. Some even created revenue growth playbooks entirely based on AI and data intelligence. Seeing this level of impact and success has been my favorite memory so far, and it excites me to help many more customers achieve similar results.”

Have you faced any challenges in your sector of work recently? Kasturi acknowledged:

Evolution Of The Company’s Technology

How has the company’s technology evolved since launching? Kasturi noted:

“HG Insights developed early on as a technographics vendor, so mainly understanding what products or technologies companies use. We acquired a spending intelligence company, so we began incorporating data on how much organizations are spending.”

“Then we started building our own firmographics, so this includes everything about a company—the revenue, company size, and people. Over time we also added partner intelligence and contract intelligence, leading us to develop our RGI Fabric and RGI Platform. We’re delivering intelligence that enables our customers and their partners to scale revenue efficiently, bolster customer retention, and heighten operational execution.”
