HighGrove Partners, an Atlanta-based commercial landscaping company backed by private equity firm Agellus Capital, announced it has acquired Lawn Enforcement Agency (LEA), a commercial landscaping business headquartered in Gainesville, Florida. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1994 by Mike Troiano, LEA provides landscape management, enhancement, and irrigation services to commercial clients across North and Central Florida. The company operates from three locations in Gainesville, Bunnell, and Ocala, Florida.
The acquisition strengthens HighGrove’s footprint in Florida as the company continues expanding throughout the Southeastern United States. HighGrove said Florida represents a key strategic growth market for the business.
Agellus Capital, which backs HighGrove, focuses on investing in essential services businesses across the United States and Canada. Founded in 2024 and based in Clayton, Missouri, the firm targets companies in fragmented industries that generate between $2 million and $20 million in EBITDA.
HighGrove Partners has provided landscape maintenance and enhancement services for more than 35 years and aims to serve as a comprehensive landscape partner for commercial customers throughout the Southeast.
