HighGrove Partners has acquired O&A Landscaping, expanding its commercial landscaping operations across Central Florida as the Agellus Capital-backed platform continues building its presence across the Southeast. O&A is headquartered in the Greater Orlando area and was founded by Carl Osborn and Rob Allis in 2006.
The company provides landscape maintenance, enhancement, arbor care and irrigation services to customers throughout Central Florida.
The acquisition adds an established Central Florida operator to HighGrove’s growing regional platform.
HighGrove CEO Jim McCutcheon identified Florida as a key market within the company’s broader Southeast expansion strategy and plans to build on O&A’s existing reputation and customer relationships.
O&A’s founders emphasized the additional resources and support available through HighGrove while pointing to similarities in the companies’ approach to employees, clients and service quality.
HighGrove has operated for more than 35 years and provides commercial landscape maintenance and enhancement services.
The company’s longer-term objective is to operate as an all-in-one landscaping partner for commercial customers throughout the Southeastern U.S.
HighGrove is backed by Agellus Capital, a Clayton, Missouri-based middle-market private equity firm founded in 2024.
Agellus focuses on non-discretionary essential services businesses in the U.S. and Canada and generally targets platform companies generating between $5 million and $20 million of EBITDA.
The O&A acquisition fits that strategy by expanding an established service platform within a fragmented commercial landscaping market and adding additional density in a state HighGrove views as strategically important.
