HighLevel announced the appointment of veteran technology finance executive Mike Kourey to its Board of Directors as Audit Chair, adding a seasoned leader with more than three decades of experience guiding high-growth technology companies.
Kourey has played a role in six successful initial public offerings during his career, serving as a chief financial officer, audit chair, board member, or venture partner. Companies he has helped take public include Navan, Okta, RingCentral, Aruba Networks, Riverbed Technology, and Polycom.
He currently serves on the boards of several technology companies, including Navan, Cribl, Illumio, Dialpad, Medable, and Ohalo. Earlier in his career, Kourey held chief financial officer positions at Okta, Medallia, and Vlocity, which was acquired by Salesforce. He also previously served as a partner at Khosla Ventures.
HighLevel said the appointment comes as the company continues expanding its AI-powered platform for agencies, entrepreneurs, and operators. The company offers a business operating system that combines CRM capabilities, messaging, automation, and revenue workflows while embedding AI capabilities into core operations. The platform is designed to help businesses streamline processes, deploy AI agents, and scale more efficiently.
The board addition follows a period of growth for HighLevel, which recently announced a strategic partnership with digital marketing entrepreneur Neil Patel and launched its Summer of AI initiative aimed at making advanced AI capabilities more accessible to small businesses.
HighLevel said Kourey’s experience working with founder-led companies and category-defining technology platforms will help support the company’s next phase of global expansion and continued development of its AI-first business operating system.
