Hightower Advisors announced that Synergy Capital Solutions has joined Hightower Signature Wealth, adding approximately $1 billion in assets under management to the platform.
Synergy is a Bloomfield Hills, Michigan-based wealth management firm serving affluent individuals across the U.S. The firm has been a Hightower partner since 2017 and will now operate as part of Hightower Signature Wealth.
The transaction closed on September 30, 2026.
Synergy brings a multigenerational team of 15 professionals, including seven advisors, to Hightower Signature Wealth. The team plans to maintain offices in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan; Naples, Florida; and Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
Synergy takes a collaborative approach to financial planning and portfolio management, working with clients to align investment and wealth management strategies with their goals, priorities, and values.
As part of Hightower Signature Wealth, Synergy will gain access to expanded investment, operational, technology, compliance, marketing, and client service capabilities.
Hightower Signature Wealth’s model combines personalized financial advice with centralized infrastructure, allowing advisors to spend more time working directly with clients while benefiting from the resources and scale of a larger wealth management organization.
Synergy was founded more than four decades ago and has developed a broad range of wealth management solutions intended to support clients through different stages of their financial lives.
The firm’s leadership includes Mark Burns, CEO, Chief Investment Officer and Co-Founder; Jordann M. Andrusiak, CFP, Advisor and Chief Operating Officer; and Eric M. Nahat, CEPA, Advisor and Co-Chief Investment Officer.
Following the Synergy transaction, Hightower Signature Wealth has approximately $40 billion in assets under management, more than 160 advisors, and over 35 locations nationwide.
Hightower said it expects to announce additional Hightower Signature Wealth acquisitions through the end of 2026.
Hightower Advisors oversees more than $350 billion in assets and provides investment management, financial planning, retirement planning, 401(k) consulting, and cash management services through its network of advisor businesses.
The broader Hightower platform is designed to serve as a growth partner for independent wealth management firms seeking additional technology, investment capabilities, operational infrastructure, and strategic resources while maintaining their client-focused advisory models.
