Hilltop Holdings announced the appointments of Dana Bober and Stephen Haworth to the company’s Board of Directors, effective April 23, 2026. Both appointees will serve as independent directors.
Bober will serve as a member of the Board’s Audit Committee. She previously served as Partner and Americas Practice Leader for Financial Accounting Advisory Services at Ernst & Young from 2017 until her retirement in June 2025. Prior to that role, she was a Partner in Financial Services at Ernst & Young.
Hilltop said Bober brings 30 years of experience in audit, strategic planning, financial management, and corporate governance, with expertise focused on investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, and diversified financial institutions. She also serves on the Board and Executive Committee of Girl Rising, an international nonprofit focused on girls’ education.
Haworth also joins the Board as an independent director and will serve on both the Audit Committee and Compensation Committee. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of Flexpoint Ford, a private equity firm. Prior to becoming Vice Chairman in 2025, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Flexpoint Ford from 2005 onward.
Before joining Flexpoint Ford, Haworth was a Partner at Ernst & Young. Hilltop said he brings two decades of experience as a chief financial officer overseeing private equity funds focused on buyouts, growth capital, middle-market investments, and equity transactions.
